What is Splashball?

​

Splashball™ is designed to introduce the

sport of water polo to children 7-11 years

old. The intent is to provide basic skills and

understanding of the sport in a recreational

format. Although water polo is known for its

toughness and endurance, Splashball

harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of

the game in a safe, non-contact, easy to

learn aquatic experience that will motivate

kids to swim and stay fit.

Splashballers must be able to swim at least 4 lengths of the pool without struggling.

  Winter  Session

  December 7th- February 22, 2026

​

Sundays, 9-10am at the Alga Norte Aquatics Center in Carlsbad 

              

 

Splashball Fee:- $125

          Each participant must be a Splashball member of USA Water Polo. Please go to 

          https://usawaterpolo.org/ and click "join". Sign up for a Splashball Holders Pass

          with "Seaside Water Polo", #34145.  This is a yearly $20 membership.  Also, fill out

          the parent/player contact form below, and email back to us or bring it to your

          first day of practice.
